Cookie Policy

This notice explains the small amount of browser storage worldgamingbest.com uses, and what happens when you leave for Google Play. Last updated 20 August 2026.

Who this notice is for

World Gaming Best is operated from Level 14, 101 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000, Australia. Questions: hello@worldgamingbest.com or +61 3 9663 2180.

This policy should be read with our Privacy policy. It covers storage we set on worldgamingbest.com. It does not cover cookies set by Google, game publishers, or help services linked from the footer.

What we store on this domain

We use local storage — not a marketing cookie — to remember that you accepted the banner. The flag is used only so the bar does not reappear on every visit. It does not identify you across other websites, and it is not used to build an advertising profile.

Some browsers also keep a session or security cookie set by the hosting environment. Those are used to deliver the page over HTTPS and to reduce abuse. We do not use them to track you across unrelated sites.

What we do not use

This site does not set advertising, retargeting, social-plugin or analytics cookies of its own. We do not run a third-party tag manager on these pages. We do not drop pixels for Facebook, Google Ads or similar networks on worldgamingbest.com.

Third-party pages you open from a stall

When you open a stall, Google Play (and any tools on that store page) applies its own cookies, local storage and policies. Publisher apps you later install may set their own identifiers. Those rules are not controlled by World Gaming Best. Read Google’s notices and the in-app privacy text before you create an account or turn on purchases.

Footer links to GamCare, GambleAware and Gambling Help Online also sit on those organisations’ domains. Their cookie banners, if any, are theirs.

How to refuse or clear storage

You can decline the banner and keep browsing; the notice may show again on a later visit. To remove the flag, clear site data for worldgamingbest.com in your browser settings. Private or incognito windows typically drop the flag when you close the window.

Blocking all storage may also block the banner from remembering your choice. The shortlist itself does not require an account or a tracking cookie to be read.

Australian privacy context

Where the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) applies, we treat the banner flag as a limited technical record, not as a marketing list. We do not sell it. For access, correction or complaints, use the contacts in the Privacy policy, including the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes

If we add analytics or a different storage tool, we will update this page and, where required, ask again. The date at the top is the version in force.
